FFA week 1
FFA (formerly Future Farmers of America) students from Snyder County enjoyed milkshakes and ice cream at Penn State's Berkey Creamery during a break from this year's State FFA activities week, being held June 14-16 on the University Park campus. More than 3,000 FFA students from around Pennsylvania are attending and taking part in a variety of educational and recreational activities.

The community-service project was one of the educational and developmental sessions offered during this year's FFA Activities Week, being held on Penn State's University Park campus. The school supplies will be shipped to the U.S. Military for distribution to needy children in Afghanistan.
