Fall Commencement 2011-1
Six-day-old Vince Davidson, a son of Rachel and Michael Davidson of Clearfield, made it to his Aunt Leah Carr's commencement ceremony on Saturday, Dec. 17, at the Bryce Jordan Center on Penn State's University Park campus.

Gary Orfield, professor of education law, political science and urban planning at the University of California, Los Angeles, accepted an honorary doctorate from Penn State and spoke at the afternoon commecement ceremony on Dec. 17 at the Bryce Jordan Center on Penn State's University Park campus. In congragulating graduates on successfully navigating the long road they traveled and overcoming obstacles along the way, he said, "For finding your way to this day, you deserve a lot of credit."
