The Penn State Blue Band entertained a capacity crowd at Beaver Stadium on Sept. 1 during their traditional pre-game show. The Nittany Lion football team opened the 2012 season with a 24-12 loss vs. Ohio U.
Ohio Game 2
Varsity athletes from all sports at Penn State lined the field as the Nittany Lion football team entered Beaver Stadium on Sept. 1. The athletes were there to represent the university community's motto 'One Team' and show support for the university and Bill O'Brien's football players.

The Nittany Lions close out their non-conference schedule with a 3:30 p.m. home game vs. Temple on Sept. 22.

Penn State running back Bill Belton celebrated his first quarter touchdown with wide receiver Allen Robinson on Sept. 1 at Beaver Stadium in the Nittany Lions home opener vs. Ohio U. Belton's touchdown reception was the first scoring play in the Bill O'Brien era at Penn State.

Nittany Lion tight end Matt Lehman scored Penn State's second touchdown of the day during second quarter action on Sept. 1 at Beaver Stadium vs. Ohio U. The Bobcats spoiled new head coach Bill O'Brien's debut at Penn State with a 24-14 victory over the Lions.

The Penn State Blue Band formed a ONE formation, complete with a #ONETEAM banner, to end its halftime show on Saturday, Sept. 1 during Penn State's season opening game vs. Ohio U.
Ohio Game 12
Ohio U. quarterback Tyler Tettleton attempted a pass while under pressure from the Penn State defense during third quarter action at Beaver Stadium on Sept. 1. Tettleton completed 21 of 31 passes as Ohio U. went on to beat the Nittany Lions 24-14.
