President's Concert 001-2 8 13
David Hood, assistant conductor of Penn State's Concert Choir, prepared for the School of Music's President's Concert with National Symphony Orchestra organist and 2011 Penn State Alumni Fellow William Neil, class of 1966, on Feb. 8 at the National Presbyterian Church in Washington, D.C. The Seventh Annual President's Concert is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Feb. 8 and will be preceded by a reception. The event is hosted by the Penn State Alumni Association.

Students lined up for THON merchandise Feb. 6 in the HUB-Robeson Center at Penn State University Park. With the IFC/Panhellenic Dance Marathon fast approaching on Feb. 15, students stocked up on apparel, with the most popular items of the one-day sale being tank tops and crewneck sweatshirts. Merchandise is available online at store.thon.psu.edu and will also be sold during the 46-hour dance marathon. Proceeds benefit the Four Diamonds Fund.

Colonel Jacob Graham, professor of practice in security and risk analysis in Penn State's College of Information Sciences and Technology (IST), studied a map with students Trevor Fisk, left, Mary Lieb and Allyson Flanagan in the Red Cell Analytics Lab in the IST Building on the University Park campus. The lab features advanced technology for information visualization. Researchers and students use the facility to investigate potential outcomes, from counterterrorism tactics to natural disaster relief efforts.
