Fireside Lounge, Slep Student Center

Storyteller Dylan Pritchett will present spoken word stories related to the speeches, writings, and messages of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 16, in the Fireside Lounge of the Slep Student Center at Penn State Altoona.

A native of Williamsburg, Virginia, Pritchett has been entertaining college audiences throughout the United States for over 25 years. In his association with the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Pritchett performs and leads workshops on the use of storytelling within the classroom. His work extends beyond the classroom to museums, arts centers, historical sites, television, and radio.

The program is sponsored by the Office of Student Diversity and Inclusion Programming through funding received from the Student Activity Fee.
