Penn State College of Medicine graduate students recently launched a new blog called Lions Talk Science. It will feature articles relating to biomedical sciences as well as fascinating scientific experiment findings.

Dr. Brian Smith, chair, Department of Laboratory Medicine at Yale-New Haven Hospital, New Haven, Conn., will present the Department of Pathology Visiting Professor Lecture Series talk at 8 a.m. Tuesday, May 14, in the Pathology Conference Room, C7702, on the Penn State Hershey campus. He will present "Pathology Training and Practice in the 21st Century: Not Your Grandfather’s Pathologist Anymore."

Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center and Select Medical begin construction today on a project to nearly double the number of beds at its joint venture, Penn State Hershey Rehabilitation Hospital.

Dr. Thomas Terndrup, distinguished professor, associate dean for clinical research, and chair of the Department of Emergency Medicine at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center and Penn State College of Medicine, has accepted the position of chair of Emergency Medicine at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and Ohio State University College of Medicine.
